When we started Rowdy Kind it was very important to us to build a Good Company, to be “so much more than just soap” as one customer said this week.
Today marks a milestone on that journey. Today is Giving Tuesday and thanks to all of our amazing customers and in collaboration with Work For Good’s #Smallbusinessstar campaign a total of £980 will be donated to the YoungMinds Charity in support of youth mental health.
We may be a brand new company, but we believe you’re never too small to make a difference
Giving Tuesday (the Tuesday after Black Friday / Cyber Monday) was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people and companies to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people, along with non-profits, small businesses, corporations and schools to collaborate and celebrate generosity in a global day of giving. We were thrilled to have joined this movement in support of youth mental health this year.
We chose YoungMinds to be the focus of this initiative as we really believe in their approach to the youth mental health crisis in the UK. Their mission: To make sure all young people can get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what - is critical in our country as the youth mental health epidemic has worsened significantly due to Covid-19.
Thank you again to everyone that liked, shared, talked about and most importantly purchased our Kind to Young Minds collection this month, we are so so grateful.
